Hello.

You are receiving this email because you placed your name on the HCA Announcement list.

Please do not reply to this message as the HCAInfo email address is not monitored. To
contact Technical Support please send email to TechSup at HCATech.com

There are 3 announcements in this email. Please read all the way to the end.

[ Time to move on - for us but maybe not yet for you]

With the advent of the new HCA Community Forum (http://www.hcatech.com/forum/) we really
wanted to end this list.

But we have heard "forum horror stories" from some of you and also, we found that not
everyone on this list subscribed to the forums. So we decided to keep this list for a bit
longer but not forever! We will post announcements on the forum first so if you want the
quickest route to HCA info, you really need to get on the forum.

Here is how you can do that:

We will be using the "News and Announcements" forum to make announcements we previously
sent via this list. If you would still prefer an email alerting you of any announcements
we make, you can do so with a forum account. Simply subscribe to "News and Announcements"
and receive topic notifications.

Instructions on subscribing to a forum is found here:
http://www.hcatech.com/forum/faq.php?faq=vb3_user_profile#faq_vb3_subscriptions

Our forums are configured so that anyone can read the content, but only users with a forum
accounts can post. Please take a moment to register
(http://www.hcatech.com/forum/register.php) so that you can post questions, comments, and
to share your HCA experiences and solutions you have generated.

We suggest that you do this as soon as possible.

[ HCA Beta ]

We are looking for some new beta testers. Initially this will be to test the V9 point
upgrades. But after that you will participate in setting the direction of the product.

This is a brief overview.
http://www.hcatech.com/index.php?sid=support&pid=beta_program

You must be a registered user of HCA 9 to be considered. Also we are looking for users who
will actively work with the new features. What we don't want are beta sites that download
and install a test version, load their design, and then walk away. If we add a new feature
we expect you to use it and comment on it. This may mean making a new design file or
adding new devices for hardware that you actually don't have just to see the UI support.

We want participants who will play an active role.

Please email Tech Support with information about yourself and your Home Design solution
and if you have used any other automation software.

[ Insteon 2412U PowerLinc Modem ]

We are looking for HCA 9 users of the 2412U PowerLinc modem to test some changes we have
made in support. Please contact HCA tech support and let us know if you will help out.

Thanks for reading this.
