[ARTS] changing sampling rate on ARTS2

Are you remembering to save the changed data back to the altimeter?  I
always go through this procedure whenever I am going to change a
setting:

 

1) Load from altimeter

2) confirm the setting that just loaded

3) change the setting (or leave it if it is already what I want)

4) save the setting back to the altimeter

5) Load the setting from the altimeter AGAIN to confirm that it now has
my new setting changed.

 

When you first open up DataAnalyzer, it has some default values for many
of the settings , including sampling rate, populated into its parameter
fields.  When you do a load settings from altimeter command, it updates
these to the current ones that are actually present on your altimeter.

 

Try that and see if it works.
